The Lost Collection: Charles I and Whitehall Palace, a digital initiative
The major exhibition "Charles I: King and Collector" at London's Royal Academy of Arts, presented in collaboration with the Royal Collection Trust, is accompanied by an innovative digital project. This project reconstructs the entire picture collection of Charles I online, tracing artworks listed in the seventeenth-century inventories to their present-day locations, and presents a 3-D visualisation of the picture hang at Whitehall Palace. Niko Munz, Assistant Curator at Royal Collection Trust, will introduce the digital project at this evening lecture.
