Das Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte vergibt gemeinsam mit anderen Fördernden 2026 zahlreiche Fellowships und Stipendien:

 

• Freiraum Fellowship für freiberufliche Kurator:innen und angestellte Kunsthistoriker:innen in Museen und Ausstellungshäusern – gestiftet vom Verein der Freunde des Zentralinstituts für Kunstgeschichte e.V. CONIVNCTA FLORESCIT 

• James Loeb Fellowship for the Classical Tradition in Art and Architecture – gefördert durch die James Loeb Gesellschaft e.V. und den Harvard Club München e.V. 

• Zwei Juliane-und-Franz-Roh-Stipendien zur Kunst der Moderne und Gegenwart (20.–21. Jahrhundert) am Studienzentrum zur Kunst der Moderne und Gegenwart am Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte 

• Panofsky Fellowship: 2026 wird Prof. Dr. Michele Bacci, Université Fribourg, mit der Panofsky-Professur am Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte ausgezeichnet. In Verbindung damit schreibt das ZI ein Panofsky Fellowship aus (Thema: Byzantine-Latin Artistic Interactions in the Late Medieval and Early Modern Periods) 

• Albert-Ottenbacher-Fellowship für Provenienzforschung – gestiftet vom Verein der Freunde des Zentralinstituts für Kunstgeschichte e.V. CONIVNCTA FLORESCIT
